Pews' Ride/Freeride has quickly gained wide recognition and support since the launch of its pet taxi service in 2023, completing over 10,000 pet transportation orders. This is thanks to the professional and pet-loving partners on Pews' Ride and pet-friendly vehicles, which allow every pet lover to enjoy a first-class travel experience, whether it's a short trip in the city or a long journey.

Now, Pews' Ride/Freeride has merged with "BooTask" to offer pet pick-up services. You will receive orders from different pet owners to assist them in transporting their pets to various destinations, such as clinics, pet parks, pet-friendly restaurants, and more.

Transporting pets requires more care and attention than usual, as situations can arise at any moment. Therefore, the partners who pick up pets on the platform are generally drivers who love pets, and many of them also own pets. When transporting furry passengers, you can communicate with the owners, making every journey enjoyable. To avoid unnecessary unpleasant events, we strongly recommend that only partners who currently own pets or have a passion for pets choose to accept pet orders.

We understand that different pets need a stable and low-stress environment when going out. Therefore, if you wish to transport pet passengers, you must understand and adhere to the following rules and prohibited actions (Dos and Don’ts).

We understand your preferences; you can set the types of pets you wish to pick up in the Freeride Partner App to receive pet orders that suit the size of your vehicle and preferences. Generally speaking, pet order pricing is higher than "Quick Trips" due to potential additional cleaning needs and wait times.

  • You can chat with the owner in "Contact Customer" before departure to understand the background or needs of the traveling pet.

  • Since pets may not be accustomed to traveling, especially for journeys of 20 minutes or longer, the platform will remind owners not to overfeed before long trips to reduce the risk of vomiting. We also hope that the transporting partners can maintain stability while driving, avoiding sudden braking and sharp turns, to provide a comfortable journey for the pets.

  • You can suggest to the owner to take care of the pet in the back seat and pay attention to the pet's traveling condition before departure.

  • You can discuss the pet's seating position with the owner; generally speaking, pets can sit on the seats. Please do not place pets in areas that the owner cannot reach or care for.

  • Based on experience, pets may shed fur or drool, and this is normal. However, you can use pet seat covers and lay down plastic mats on the seat. You can also equip a lightweight cordless vacuum cleaner to remove hair. This helps with quick cleaning and prevents damage to the seats.

  • Before or after your journey, you may choose to do a simple cleaning of the cabin, which will help maintain cleanliness and make it more comfortable for your pet. However, please pay special attention to ensure that any cleaning products you use during the cleaning process are safe for pets; do not use harsh cleaners such as Dettol or bleach.

  • When picking up, you should prioritize the safety of the pet. Please do not accept pet orders if there is no suitable pet safety seat. If you accept an order but are unable to transport the pet, it will result in account suspension.

  • Avoid excessive interaction with pets while driving to prevent distractions.

  • You need to understand that shedding fur and drooling are normal situations, which are also reflected in the higher fare charges. Therefore, you cannot scold pets or owners or engage in impolite conversations. Likewise, if the pet's behavior does not cause practical disturbance to your driving, you should not arbitrarily request to end the trip while driving.

  • Pets have more booking orders; when you accept a booking, make sure to arrive at the pick-up location at the agreed time to transport the pet. If you drop a booking without reason or fail to show up, preventing the pet and its owner from going on their trip, it will result in serious permanent account suspension.
