Terms and Conditions (Riding Partner)

Why was this ride-sharing guideline established?

BooTask is committed to creating an efficient digital ride-hailing platform that exceeds the current transportation service standards, enabling different users to travel conveniently and enjoy a comfortable journey. We understand that many partners also wish to use a ride-hailing platform that cares for drivers, therefore BooTask aims to effectively match orders with technology. While enjoying the convenience of accepting orders, partners also represent the experience and image of this platform; hence there are certain standards and guidelines established by the platform to standardize user experience and continuously enhance service performance.

Please read and pay attention to the content of this guideline carefully, and abide by the regulations at all times. We hope that the transparent information can provide clear service directions for ride-sharing partners, avoiding any unnecessary conflicts with users. If you are unable to accept or comply with the content of this guideline, it may lead to account suspension or permanent deactivation.

Consequences of Violating This Guideline

Reminder - We hope that ride-sharing partners can improve upon receiving reminders:

  • If 3 or more passengers provide a rating of less than 3 stars;

  • If a passenger complains to the platform about an unpleasant riding experience;

  • If there are multiple cancellations of accepted orders.

3-Day Account Suspension - More serious behavior:

  • If the aforementioned reminded issues persist, or

  • If there are more than 2 no-shows or cancellations;

  • If there is rude treatment of guests, including during contact with guests, while conducting the trip, or upon completing the trip;

7-Day Account Suspension - Serious behavior, final improvement opportunity:

  • If the aforementioned reminded issues persist, or

  • Contacting guests privately;

  • Accepting a large number of orders and canceling them without reasonable cause;

  • Sharing accounts with others;

  • Using false location methods when accepting orders;

  • Publicly disclosing guest information, including in-car photography or recording;

Permanent Deactivation - Serious or ongoing violations, termination of cooperation:

  • If none of the aforementioned issues are improved, or including but not limited to

  • If involved in illegal activities, including but not limited to traffic offenses such as driving under the influence, speeding, dangerous driving, etc.;

  • If involved in criminal activities, including but not limited to harassment, bullying, acts of violence, indecent acts, insults, or intimidation;

  • If there is impolite behavior towards guests and BooTask service personnel;

  • If any false information or proof document is provided, risking the offense of forgery;

  • Involved in or having had traffic accidents resulting in injury or death.


How to Avoid Violations?

To ensure that your account does not face any form of suspension, please follow the suggestions below:

  • Maintain a good service attitude: Always be polite and professional, especially when communicating with passengers. Remember, you are a representative of the BooTask platform.

  • Follow traffic rules: Do not speed, do not drive under the influence, and always pay attention to road conditions.

  • Pick up and drop off passengers on time: If you accept an order, please try to avoid cancellation. If cancellation is necessary, please notify the passenger and the platform in advance.

  • Actively respond to low ratings: If you receive a rating of less than 3 stars, consider the passenger's feedback and strive for improvement.

  • Do not accept illegal activities: Any form of illegal behavior will result in your account being permanently deactivated.

  • Accept passenger feedback: Passenger feedback is a great opportunity for learning and improvement. Although feedback may not always be positive, it is a chance for your growth.

  • Communicate with other drivers: Sharing experiences and learning with peers is a great way to gain valuable insights from their experiences.

  • Continue learning: Whether it is learning safer driving techniques, or enhancing customer service skills, it can help you become a better driver.
