What is BooTask?
BooTask is the most comprehensive pet business management solution, designed as an integrated platform specifically for the pet industry, helping you easily manage your business, improve efficiency, and expand your market. Whether you are a pet groomer, a pet boarding service provider, a pet-friendly multiple taxi driver, or a veterinary clinic, BooTask can provide you with a one-stop solution, allowing you to focus on delivering quality services while the platform's powerful features handle the tedious operational details.
How can payments be received?
When customers place an order through BooTask and complete the transaction, the system will temporarily hold the funds to ensure the transaction is completed smoothly. Depending on your type of business, the funds will enter the settlement process once specific conditions are met, such as:
โ Service-type transactions (such as BooRide, BooTask freelance work): When the customer confirms the service is completed, the funds will enter the settlement stage.
โ Product sales (such as Boo pet merchants): When the order is completed and there are no refund disputes, the system will arrange for settlement.
What is the settlement period for BooTask?
BooTask adopts a periodic settlement mechanism to ensure that your income can be stable. Settlement methods include:
Weekly settlement (suitable for start-up merchants and individual contractors): Processing the previous week's transaction amounts at a fixed time every week.
Bi-weekly settlement (suitable for medium-sized start-ups): Settlements are made on the 1st and 15th of each month.
Monthly settlement (suitable for large merchants or specific partners): All transaction amounts are totaled monthly and transferred to the account.
How to manage bookings on BooTask?
When a customer books your service through BooTask, the system will automatically record the appointment. You can view all upcoming appointments on the appointment management page, including:
โ Appointment date and time โ Customer information (name, contact details) โ Service details (e.g., pet grooming, behavior training, etc.) โ Payment status (paid / pending payment)
How to accept or reject an appointment?
If you receive a new appointment notification, you can choose to accept or reject the appointment:
๐น Accept appointment: The system will automatically notify the client and add the appointment to your schedule.
๐น Reject appointment: You can choose to provide a reason for rejection or suggest the client reschedule to another time.
โ ๏ธ Note: Avoid frequently canceling appointments, as this may affect your BooTask rating and ranking.
If you need to change the appointment time, you can use the built-in rescheduling function in BooTask and choose a new time for the client to confirm.
To cancel an appointment, please make sure to do so within the latest allowed cancellation time to avoid extra fees or affecting your rating.
How to improve appointment conversion rates?
Want to get more clients to book your services? You can:
๐ Offer limited-time discounts (like first-order discounts)
๐ Accumulate high ratings (invite clients to leave positive feedback after completing the service)
